The goal was to integrate the armchair and chaise lounge into one compact visually light object. The very name Kontrapunkt (counterpoint) means “two opposite points”, and comes from music, where it denotes a method of composing two parallel melodic lines into one harmonious whole.
This was achieved by using the armrests as part of an innovative mechanism that holds the leg pad extension and tilts the backrest into the proper position. The design is minimal and lays the product’s structural parts bare, without compromising its aesthetic. Comfort is achieved through an ergonomic shape and material elasticity, particularly through different versions of the product’s skin, upholstered in fabric or leather. The change of skins transforms its character, making it suitable for various situations of interior use. Aperi

Bold Sofa
Bold designed by Patricia Urquiola in 2015 for Moroso is a sofas collection. Normality as intuition, as the principle of formal research which requires a reference to and, at the same time, denial of tradition. The intention is not to make a break, there is no attempt to redefine the aesthetic models or rules, but instead the goal is to regain, in the concept of simple, balanced and functional elegance, the “road to evergreen”. Attention is the drawn to the value of the finishes and details, the small adjustments made to make the experience of beauty daily (and normal).
Brioni Up Indoor
Brioni from Kristalia is a collection of seats inspired by the archipelago in the Adriatic Sea of the same name. Designed by the duo LucidiPevere for outdoor use, and later redesigned in an indoor version, the collection is now enriched with new versions.
A lounge, daybed and pouf accompany the 2 seater and 3 seater chairs and BrioniUp, an advanced version of the armchair and sofa with a high seat and backs, ideal for use in the contract sector. Metal feet, ten centimetres long, are available on request to raise the height of the chair.
Click Modular Seating
Click is a brilliant idea from Estudio Sancal. Toni J. Castaño had a light bulb moment when he was adjusting the headrests of his car. Starting from a simple mechanism, similar to the one used in the automotive sector, the studio shaped a very versatile sectional seating system.

Corso Easy Chair
The Corso easy chair started as a play with lines in the sketchbook of designer, Peter Andersson: “The two-dimensional lines in the sketchbook, which intuitively just felt so obvious, have been translated into a cohesive loop of steel tubing” Peter Andersson explains.
The simplicity of Corso´s design is also reflected through its resource-efficient construction. The frame gives the easy chair a soft, resilient effect both through its shape and construction, whilst the design also utilizes a minimal amount of upholstery, without compromising on comfort. Natural and durable materials are used to prolong the product lifecycle and is easily taken apart for replacement or recycling.

Julep Sofa
Soft, enveloping shapes characterize this family of upholstered pieces. Julep from Tachinni is influenced by the 1950s Avant-Garde movement, drawing upon its simplicity and grandeur, refined by a contemporary, romantic, feminine allure.
Star of the series is the sofa, whose generous rounded lines provided evolutionary DNA for the entire collection – including an armchair, a chaise-longue and an ottoman – in an interplay of proportions and shapes that gave rise, little by little, to all the other versions.

Kontrapunkt Lounge
The design of the Kontrapunkt armchair from Prostoria and chaise longue transformer explores the possibility of creating an alternative to the standard bulky recliner armchair typology. The goal was to integrate the armchair and chaise lounge into one compact visually light object. The very name Kontrapunkt (counterpoint) means “two opposite points”, and comes from music, where it denotes a method of composing two parallel melodic lines into one harmonious whole.
This was achieved by using the armrests as part of an innovative mechanism that holds the leg pad extension and tilts the backrest into the proper position. The design is minimal and lays the product’s structural parts bare, without compromising its aesthetic. Comfort is achieved through an ergonomic shape and material elasticity, particularly through different versions of the product’s skin, upholstered in fabric or leather. The change of skins transforms its character, making it suitable for various situations of interior use. The ultimate experience of comfort can be additionally moderated through layers of feather and with the regulation of the height of the head cushion.
