SKU: N/A

In the wake of the launch of the iconic shelving concept ROYAL SYSTEM® in 1948, Poul Cadovius introduced the SYSTEM ULTRA® in 1957 now available at DK3. The system was created on a very simple yet genius basic principle. It was developed with the same space-saving, flexible design as ROYAL SYSTEM®, based on the innovative idea of moving the furniture off the floor onto the walls, leaving more space in the room.

SYSTEM ULTRA® consists of wall-mounted rails, shelves and hangers in powder coated steel. The system is characterized by its elegant, ultra-thin shelves, with a wave-shaped edge profile, attached to the rails by hangers in either raw brass or coloured steel. The components are available in various colours and sizes, offering the possibility to customize the system in multiple individual combinations, and to extend it over time according to needs.

In 1957 Poul Cadovius exhibited at the XI Triennale in Milan with the SYSTEM ULTRA®, for which he won a silver medal. A highly treasured prize and an international recognition of an exceptional design idea.

Vestige Dining

SKU: N/A

The passage of time is an element that leaves a trace of the past as it sculpts matter. In the context of Void Matters concept, Note Studio for Sancal have created a family of tables whose bases remind us of architectural figures of ancient civilizations, eroded over time.

The sculptural base is formed by a rectangular block from which a cylindrical section has been subtracted from upper part. A tempered glass top rests delicately on the fine lines that have been exposed by the intersection of both geometric figures. An honest aesthetic that exhibits strength and beauty in simple ways.

The base is both structural and aesthetic. To combine with the champagne hues of the glass top, Note have curated the brand new Menta, Lavanda and Calabaza stains for the ash wood version of the base, and also recommend our classic Nogal and Cerezo colours.

Wai is a line of furniture for the sleeping area, the shape of the base of which was inspired by joined hands, a gesture known as “wai”, used in the Far East to greet and show respect. The collection includes chest of drawers, highboy and bedside table with a sober and clear appearance. The large, rectangular structure elegantly retains the drawers on which a discreet recessed handle is a sophisticated decorative and functional element.

The base, in painted metal, either in anthracite grey or the burnished finish, raises the structure from the ground in an original way. The bedside tables are produced in two versions: with a single drawer and central base or two handy drawers, with double lateral base.

This subtle gesture of subtraction results in a very strong impact, thanks to the curvature of the base defining a space which alters the visual perception of the objects.

The ‘Void’ series by Desalto originates as an investigation of form in relation to the architectural notions of mass and emptiness.

VV Cinquanta is a lighting collection that embodies elegance and versatility. Re-issued in 2016 but designed by Italian architect Vittoriano Viganó in 1951 during his time as Art Director for Arteluce, the VV Cinquanta features a posable direct light source that can swivel and tilt, from direct working light to upward lighting.

The Suspension model is a sophisticated luminaire with a distinctive dual-stemmed construction. It is a type of kinetic object constructed to take advantage of the principle of equilibrium, therefore the central pole might find its equilibrium in a way which is not perpendicular to the ceiling. The invitingly playful design encourages dynamic lighting compositions. The fixture and the reflectors can be adjusted to many different positions, enabling a wide variety of both downward and upward lighting.

Wai Bedroom Collection

Wai is a line of furniture for the sleeping area, the shape of the base of which was inspired by joined hands, a gesture known as “wai”, used in the Far East to greet and show respect. The collection includes chest of drawers, highboy and bedside table with a sober and clear appearance. The large, rectangular structure elegantly retains the drawers on which a discreet recessed handle is a sophisticated decorative and functional element.

The material that characterises Wai is wood: specifically, the warm, reassuring colour of the Canaletto walnut enables these accessories to be incorporated perfectly in numerous stylistic contexts. The base, in painted metal, either in anthracite grey or the burnished finish, raises the structure from the ground in an original way. The bedside tables are produced in two versions: with a single drawer and central base or two handy drawers, with double lateral base.
